What Would You Like To Know About Ucluelet?
Thank you for leaving your questions and comments in the box below.
We appreciate the time you have spent reading this request and we look forward to your response!
Finally made it back to Ucluelet this summer after a 30 yr absence! It will not be that long ever again!! I would love to see in your blog information on seasonal events to encourage more visits as well as photos of the areas trails beaches and harbour! Any updates on accommodation (all $$$ not just the fancy smancy) and fun eating establishments!
Love your town!
I'd like to know about local classified ads, such as: locals with rooms/houses to rent during the summer, coffee house readings, garage sales, help wanted, etc..
An interactive town map would be great!
A webcam or photo of the day or week would be awesome too.
That's my $0.02. Thanks for asking.
I would love to know more about the history of Ucluelet.
The best places to eat at various times of the day and good 'stuff' to do other than the usual Wild Pacific Trail and the aquarium. Thrilled that you are doing this, but please don't relinquish your small fishing village charm and become too upscale.
would love to know about music events, things to do. Live in Parksville and come to the west coast often and ALWAYS at Christmas . Goods eats too would be a good item to feature.
Walks and hikes with maps..beaches.... events.... weather.... restaurants..
I would like to know more about the history of Ucluelet and would also be interested in seeing old pictures.
We go to Ucluelet several times throughout the year. It is our home away from home.
I would like to know more about local artisans and industries. Where can you buy the best fresh seafood? Are there places where you can spend a day or half day doing pottery? Best places for biking? How to book a nature guide for a tour of the forest? (I remember we did that many, many years ago when I was a kid.)
I watched a travel programme here in Japan on Canada and Long Beach was featured, including the Wikinninish Inn (I'm sure I have spelled that wrong!) where hubby proposed was featured. I kept thinking, go into the forest, go into the forest.... and when they finally did I started crying. I miss home a lot!
We would love to visit Ucluelet and maybe we will make it over this winter. We have heard so much about it but in spite of living in BC for about 40 years, have not made it there.
I work in Ukee for 3 years for the Oak bay Marine groupe that was a wonderfull experience about People and Friends great time I miss sometimes Ukee
We've been to Tofino and Uclulet many times and twice this year alone. We were surprised, and very pleased, to 'discover' the Wild Coast Trail. I have MS and walk with a cane and I was able to do the Lighthouse loop. So, maybe feature places that are accessible. Such a beautiful area but much of it is not accessible for persons with disabilities.
I would like to know about upcoming events and "things to do". I find the Westerly is only good about reporting things which have happened and I often read about something which I would have like to have gone to if I'd known about it.
