Zoning Bylaw Amendment – Residential Purpose – 844 Rainforest Drive
Pursuant to Section 467 of the Local Government Act, public notice is hereby given that the District of Ucluelet will consider first reading of District of Ucluelet Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1413, 2026 during the October 5th, 2026, Council Meeting, at 5:30 PM. This Council Meeting will be held both in-person in the George Fraser Community Room in the Ucluelet Community Centre, located at 500 Matterson Drive, Ucluelet B.C. and electronically via the Zoom platform. The Local Government Act prohibits the District of Ucluelet from holding a Public Hearing for this Bylaw.
Address: 844 Rainforest Drive (the “Subject Property”).
Legal Description: Lot 33, District Lot 282, Clayoquot Land District Plan, VIP79602.

Purpose: The purpose of this proposed Bylaw, in general terms, is to amend the District of Ucluelet Zoning Bylaw No. 1160, 2013 (the “Zoning Bylaw”), to allow on the Subject Property a maximum density of eighteen (18) dwelling units and not require on the Subject Property the outdoor recreation/amenity space required by the Zoning Bylaw.
