Public Notice: Wesley Ridge Wildfire (Cameron Lake) – July 31, 2025, 5:50 PM
The District of Ucluelet is aware of the wildfire currently burning on Wesley Ridge, near Cameron Lake. As of 3:45 PM, the fire is classified as out of control and is estimated at approximately 60 hectares in size.
District staff are closely monitoring the situation and remain in contact with the appropriate provincial authorities.
This is an evolving incident. While Highway 4 is not currently impacted, BC Wildfire is asking all travellers to be mindful of crews working in the area. Please drive with caution, stay focused on the road, and keep traffic moving steadily.
