Pursuant to Section 494 of the Local Government Act, public notice is hereby given that input for the following Temporary Use Permit will be gathered until the submission deadline of February 4th, 2026, at 4:00PM. This permit is issuable under delegated authority pursuant to meeting criteria as specified in Section 31 of the District of Ucluelet Development Application Procedures Bylaw No. 1350, 2024.

Purpose: The Purpose of the proposed Temporary Use Permit, in general terms, is to permit the residential and seasonal accommodation in up to 17 units in the Thornton Motel located at 1861 Peninsula Road for a period of 3 years.
