You are Invited! Opening Ceremony Ucluelet Japanese Canadian History Pavilion

Dear Residents,

The Ucluelet & Area Historical Society is hosting the opening ceremony for the Ucluelet Japanese Canadian History Pavilion!

The celebration will be held at the corner of Matterson Drive and Imperial Lane on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 2:00PM. 

The celebration will continue afterwards at the Village Green in Ucluelet. There will be refreshments, Japanese Canadian art and artifacts, storytelling and historical exhibits. Everyone is welcome to participate in this special ceremony which recognizes the history, contributions and enduring legacy of Japanese Canadians.
