Public Notice: Water Restrictions Lifted October 8, 2026 

Dear Residents,

The Stage 1 Water Restrictions for the District of Ucluelet have been lifted effective October 8, 2026. 

The District of Ucluelet operates two water supply sources, the Lost Shoe Aquifer and Mercantile Creek. These water source provide drinking water for the citizens of Ucluelet, portions of the ACRD, and the Ucluelet First Nation.

Water restrictions help ensure that our communities have reliable access throughout the drier and more intense summer months along the west coast.
