Public Notice: Marine Drive Sanitary Sewer Upgrades: Construction Resuming

Hazelwood construction services will resume construction on Marine Drive on Monday May 11. They will be starting at the corner of Marine and Helen (where they left off) and working their way towards Rupert Drive.

ROAD CLOSURE: Crews will be closing Marine Drive from Rupert to Helen (except for residents adjacent to the construction site). 

Construction will take 2-3 weeks, followed by pavement restoration a few weeks later. The working hours will be Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm.

Please be extra careful if you need to enter the job site, and obey the traffic flaggers and signage. For the homes with driveways within the project footprint, crews will coordinate with you when excavating across your driveway.

Crews will knock on your door a day or two before and come up with a plan to ensure continued and safe access to your home during excavation in front of your driveway. This may involve parking your cars outside the construction area so they don’t get trapped in your driveway.
