Public Notice: Zoning Bylaw Housing Review Survey 

Ucluelet is updating its Zoning Bylaw to make it clearer, easier to use, and better aligned with the community’s needs. On February 23, 2026, the District hosted a community open house at the Ucluelet Community Centre from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. A survey was presented prior to that event to gather input on various topics being explored in the Bylaw.

The Housing Review Open House on May 5th 2026 will present the culmination of these efforts and seek feedback regarding the approach to housing and short-term rentals.

As part of the open house we are once again seeking survey input from the community.

All responses are confidential and anonymous, and you may skip any question you prefer not to answer or do not have an interest in answering.

This survey is intended to help shape future bylaws and will not be used in any way to enforce existing bylaws. Your input is important and valued.

The survey will close on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
