Notice of Temporary Trail Closure Wild Pacific Trail (Lighthouse Loop)

Please be advised that a section of the Lighthouse Loop on the Wild Pacific Trail, as highlighted in yellow, will be temporarily closed from October 14 to 16, 2025, between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM daily.

This closure is necessary to accommodate tree maintenance work being carried out by a contractor on behalf of the Coast Guard. The work involves pruning and removing trees adjacent to the trail to improve safety for helicopter landings during adverse weather conditions.

All parking areas, other sections of the trail, and the Amphitrite House will remain open during this period.

We kindly ask all visitors to respect the closure for the safety of workers and the public.
