Mark Your Calendars: Ucluelet Fire Rescue Open House – October 5, 2025

Ucluelet Fire Rescue invites you to our annual Open House on Saturday, October 5, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ucluelet Fire Hall.

This family-friendly event is a great opportunity to meet your firefighters, tour the fire hall and equipment, learn about fire safety and FireSmart, try on firefighting gear, take part in activities, and enjoy a barbecue lunch by donation.

Schedule of Events:

• 10:00 & 12:00 – Fire Hall & Apparatus Tours: Explore the fire hall and see our new Engine 3.

• 10:30 – Public Obstacle Course: Safely try on firefighting gear and take on some fun, simple challenges.

• 11:00 – Auto Extrication Demo: Watch our team demonstrate life-saving vehicle rescue skills.

• 11:30 – Fire Extinguisher Demonstrations: Learn how to properly use an extinguisher and try it yourself.

• 12:00 – Barbecue by Donation: Enjoy a hot dog or burger cooked by your firefighters, with proceeds supporting the Ucluelet Firefighter’s Association.
