Big Beach Lift Station Improvements

On behalf of the District of Ucluelet, Hazelwood Construction Services will be commencing work on the Big Beach Lift Station Improvements beginning Monday, January 26, 2026.

Construction is anticipated to be substantially complete by mid March. Hazelwood Construction Services will return later in the spring or summer to complete commissioning work. The majority of traffic disruption and roadway work is expected to be completed by mid March.

The project includes the installation of new sanitary piping, as indicated by the red line on the map below. Traffic control measures will be in place throughout construction. Members of the public are asked to exercise caution when travelling through the work area and to follow all traffic control personnel and posted signage.

Construction hours will be Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
