2025 By-Election Officials Nomination

At the April 15 Council meeting, the District of Ucluelet Council appointed the following election officials for the upcoming by-election:

Mark Brown, Chief Election Officer
Ed Chow, Deputy Chief Election Officer
Kelly Wharton, Deputy Chief Election Officer

2025 By-Election Notice of Candidate Information Session

The District of Ucluelet will host a virtual Candidate Information Session via Zoom on May 12, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The session will be led by Mark Brown, Chief Election Officer for the upcoming by-election.

This session will cover:

• Eligibility requirements for the vacant councillor seat

• Instructions on completing and submitting the nomination package

• A Q&A period for prospective candidates and interested members of the public

We encourage all individuals considering candidacy and anyone interested in the by-election process to attend and learn more.
