Pursuant to Section 467 of the Local Government Act, public notice is hereby given that the District of Ucluelet will consider first reading for the following District of Ucluelet Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1343, 2024 during the Regular Council Meeting held both electronically via the Zoom platform and in-person in the George Fraser Community Room at the Ucluelet Community Centre, 500 Matterson Drive, Ucluelet B.C., on July 30th, 2024, commencing at 4:00pm

The Local Government Act prohibits Council from holding a Public Hearing for this Bylaws.

District of Ucluelet Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1343, 2024

Purpose: In general terms, is to amend District of Ucluelet Zoning Bylaw No. 1160, 2013, to allow Multi-Family Residential as a principal permitted use for the subject property within the Service Commercial (CS-2) zone. The CS-2 zone already permits commercial and residential uses to exist in a mixed-use building, and this Bylaw amendment would allow for the commercial and residential uses to exist in separate buildings on the same property.
