Visit the magical and fairy land Shoreline Bog!!!
Mtn biking Mt. Ozzard, 5km climb-takes about an 50-60min, and 10 min downhill
Go to the Kwisitis visitor centre
Go swimming at Kennedy lake
Explore rock pools at Wickannish
Enjoy some fish and chips at Jiggers
Go for a hike in the Wick sand dunes
Join in the many "drop-in" evening activities offered at the School Gym - soccer, badminton, volleyball - your best $2.00 investment - adult visitors welcome. (check local recreation pamphlets for times)
I can't believe this isn't on the list, as it is our all time FAVOURITE thing to do with kids (and just us as a couple) when we come to Ucluelet:
Scavenge the beach for shells and rocks (there are SO many, we especially love Florencia Bay for this).
Photograph the morning mist at Long Beach or Florencia Bay.

Watch the Bald Eagles while hanging out with the harbour seals at the Government wharf.
Go lay on the beach when it's clear and dark and look at all the stars.
Watch a sunset on the beach with a fire going to keep warm.
Camping, exploring and bear watching at Mussel Beach. Spectacular!
Grab a board from Relic Surf Shop and go for a surf at Flo Bay
