The Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District (ACRD) is reaching out to the community for feedback on draft schedules and routing for interim public transit service.
Starting July 26, 2023, the ACRD invites the public to provide input, through an online survey, on the proposed routing and schedules for an interim transit service. This service would connect the District of Tofino and District of Ucluelet (as well as intervening ACRD Electoral Area “C” and Parks Canada areas), with the option of also connecting to the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ Government community of Hitacu. The feedback gathered will be used to finalize the schedules and routing for this service.
There are two ways to provide input:
- Online at www.letsconnectacrd.ca/west-coast-transit. The online survey will be available until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16

On paper, through a printed version of the survey, available for pickup at the Ucluelet Community Centre and the District of Tofino Office. Completed paper surveys can be returned to any of the pick-up locations before Wednesday, August 16.
The feedback collected through the survey will help inform the final schedules that will get people to where they want to go within a reasonable timeframe. For more information, please visit www.letsconnectacrd.ca/west-coast-transit.
