Highway 4 - Cameron Bluffs Wildfire Update, June 15, 2023
Continuing work on debris management and danger tree removal is underway, and progressing well so far. It is anticipated that this weekend crews will begin to implement safety measures in preparation for the highway to be reopened.
Once Highway 4 has re-opened, single lane alternating traffic (SLAT) will impact about 2km of highway, and will be open to all vehicles.
Travellers should anticipate delays during SLAT. The bypass route will remain open until two-way traffic resumes.
