MRDT Increasing to 3% June 1, 2023
Reminder to Accommodation Providers: MRDT Increase effective June 1, 2023. This is a reminder that as of June 1, 2023 the MRDT (Municipal and Regional District Tax) is increasing from 2% to 3%. This applies to all types of accommodation providers, whether you have 1 unit or 100. This is a provincial tax that supports Tourism Ucluelet's operations, as well as the Affordable Housing fund through the District of Ucluelet.
