Water Shut-offs Required on April 22 and April 24, 2024

As part of the storm system upgrade currently being carried out by Hazelwood Construction on Peninsula Road, a series of water shut-offs will be required to facilitate the installation of a new storm line across Peninsula Road at Lyche Road.

Initially, a short shut-off between the hours of 8:30 am and 11:30 am will occur on Monday, April 22, when the Operations Department will be testing waterline valving in preparation for the storm line installation work. During this time, properties in the highlighted area may experience discolouration and a loss in water pressure. Once testing is completed, discolouration may also persist as pressure resumes.

If testing is successful, the installation of the new storm line will take place on Wednesday, April 24, and the properties in the highlighted area will be without water between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Discolouration may also persist as pressure resumes once the work is completed.

When conducting work on live infrastructure, impacts to the community often change as the situation unfolds. We ask for your patience during this time, and we will endeavour to keep notifications flowing as they become available.

We thank those affected for their patience as this necessary work is completed.
