District of Ucluelet 2023 Budget- Public Open House - Tuesday March 7, 2023
We want to hear from you! The District of Ucluelet Mayor & Council are looking for public feedback on the Five-Year Financial Plan 2023 - 2027.
We invite the community to join us on Tuesday March 7, 2023 at the Ucluelet Community Centre, Activity Rooms 1 & 2 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM for the District of Ucluelet's 2023 Budget Public Open House.
In accordance with the Community Charter, a Municipality must adopt a Five-Year Financial Plan and Tax Rates bylaw by May 15th every year. Annually, the town updates the financial plan, balancing the changing needs and priorities within the community. Council must undertake a process of public consultation regarding the proposed financial plan before it is adopted. Public input is encouraged and welcomed throughout the process.
