The Ucluelet Volunteer Fire Brigade will be conducting training exercises in the 1200 block of Eber Road, on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 between 7 pm to 9 pm.

The exercise will consist of utilizing hydrants within the municipal system.

Due to the nature of the practice and time of year there will be minimal use of water through the hydrant. However, please note that with minimal use there still can be a disruption within the system that may cause water discoloration within the area.

We suggest that laundry activities be postponed during the duration of the exercise (2 hours) to allow for the water supply to stabilize and return to normal operations.

If you note discoloration in your water supply during the duration of the exercise we suggest running outside faucets until the water clears.

We apologize for any inconvenience; however, it is imperative the Fire Brigade perform regular exercises in order to maintain the skills and training necessary to provide the maximum protection for our community.

We thank you for your patience and understanding.
